Fintel Signs Operations Management Contract of Savusavu Sub-Sea Cable System

Savusavu submarine cable system Operations Management Agreement was signed between FINTEL and The Government of Fiji on 26th June 2018. The sub-sea cable system connects the islands of Viti Levu and Vanua Levu. The sub-sea cable system was operational from 12th July, 2018.

Fintel secures landing of the sub-sea cable GONDWANA - 2

Securing the Internet requires the installation of a second submarine cable that will be added to Gondwana1, which links Nouméa to Sydney since 2008. To this end, a call for tenders for the security of New Caledonia by international and domestic submarine cables was launched on March 30, 2019.
