FINTEL Executive Management Changes
The commercial rollout of FINTEL’s new subsidiary, KIDANET (www.kidanet.com.fj), has seen changes at FINTEL’s Executive Management level. Mr Jone Wesele has been appointed the CEO of KIDANET. Mr Wesele was formerly the Manager Commercial and Business Development at FINTEL and brings with him over twenty six years experience in the telecommunications industry. Mr. Wesele holds a Masters Degree in Operational Telecommunications from Coventry College, UK.
Taking over from Mr Wesele as the Acting Manager Commercial and Business Development for FINTEL is Mr George Samisoni. Mr Samisoni has spent over two decades working for FINTEL, the last five years as their Network Operations Manager overseeing the company’s Network Operations Centre at Vatuwaqa, which houses Fiji’s International Gateway Exchanges for Telephone, Data and Internet as well as the Southern Cross Cable Terminal, and the Satellite Earth Station. Mr Samisoni holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Communications Management from Coventry College, UK.
