Ra Quality Kava wins Fintel prize in FDB's Small Business Award

Ra Quality Kava & Junior's Pawnshop was awarded the Fiji Development Bank's 2010 Small Business Award for the Wholesale/Retail Category sponsored by Fintel, last night at the Forum Secretariat's Fale Centre.
Receiving the award was the happy winner and owner of the sole trader business, Mr Abraham McGoon. Located in Rakiraki town, the business has progressed from humble beginings to a major wholesaler of Kava and returns has enabled the hardworking McGoon to diversify his business and now also runs a Pawnshop.

The main award winner went to Adi's Handicraft Centre located in Lomawai, Sigatoka, run by hardworking couple, Adi Rebeka Saukuru and Imroz Khan.
The theme for this year's FDB Small Business Awards was "Improving Lives and Building Smiles" and there were six categories of awards being sponsored by various business houses and consisted of Agriculture, Tourism, Manufacturing, Professional Services, Wholesale, Retail and an Open Category.
