Fiji International Telecommunication Limited (FIN TEL) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Amalgamated
Telecom Holdings Ltd (ATHL), a public-listed entity. We are seeking interested applicants to join our
team.

The Manager Network & Technology role is a high-profile position within this fast-paced and dynamic
telecommunications landscape, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer.

As Manager Network & Technology, you will manage, operate, and maintain FINTEL’s
telecommunications facilities and ensure that the network and system developments keep FINTEL at the
leading edge of technology.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

The design, planning, and operational oversight of telecommunications facilities operated by FINTEL
and bilateral partners.

Ensure that the telecommunications network can sustain and deliver the market demands of
international regional and domestic communications services and access.

Develop, enhance, and position FINTEL’s information, communication, and technology network
infrastructure for international, regional, and domestic service provisioning, competitively.

Ensure that the network and systems deployments meet evolution and technological advancements.

Formulate, implement, and manage engineering risks, strategies, and policies in ensuring the
minimization of elimination of exposures on FINTEL’s operations.

Manage and continuously review engineering systems, processes, practices, policies, and regulatory
requirements to maintain the adequacy of control measures, compliance with management
requirements, and business ex sure.

Essential Requirements:

Engineering Degree in Telecommunications or other related qualifications.

A minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in the telecommunications industry with at least 5
ears at a senior management level.

Competent in optical subsea cable systems, data and IP, satellite, and broadband transmission.

Communicate information and concepts surrounding IT network and telecommunication services
between and across diverse groups and levels within and outside of the organization.

Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
